Fleetwood Mac icon Stevie Nicks says that late bandmate Christine McVie remains in her life spiritually – even joining her on stage.

The singer songwriter keeps the ashes of her English friend in a pendant necklace around her neck too. Nicks, who became the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, refers to McVie as her “musical soulmate."

During her solo shows, fans are treated to a video of the late 79-year-old artist while Nicks sings Landslide.

Nicks said: “We have a really beautiful montage of her and me. I never turn around and look, I can’t because I’ll start to sob.

“So I just don’t look at it. She’s gone, but she’s not gone. She’s with me a lot.

“I feel her presence all the time, especially on stage. She’s here.”

Nicks revealed that she remains traumatised at not being able to say farewell to McVie during her final days.

McVie died of a stroke and metastatic cancer at Charing Cross Hospital in London in 2022.

The singer and keyboard player – who rose to fame in the band after joining in 1970 – passed away at the age of 79.

She reportedly left behind a fortune of £70 million.

According to reports, probate documents have now revealed that she left behind millions of pounds in her estate.

In total, the Lancashire-born star left a whopping £70 million, with the inheritance going to family members such as her brother John Perfect and grandchildren.

Christine also left some of her money to charity.

Christine’s bandmate Stevie Nicks saying at the time that she was her “best friend in the whole world.”

Stevie remembered Christine by sharing some sweet snaps of them together on Instagram.

“I still see your bright eyes,” she captioned the moving post.
