Wuthering Waves Patch 1.4: Best Camellya Builds and Squad

Wuthering Waves patch update 1.4 is here and introduces two new playable characters – Camellya and Lumi. Camellya has been one of the most anticipated characters since the early leaks that surfaced a while ago. She is a Havoc-type 5-Star Resonator wielding a sword as her weapon in the game. Lumi on the other hand is a 4-star Resonator hailing from the Electro type.

Both the Resonators however are a bit uni-directional as both can be played only as DPS or Sub-DPS types. When it comes to Camellya, she can dish out massive damage as her kit consists of some of the most brutal damage-dishing abilities. There is a small catch though. Her mobility is quite restricted during damage dealing phase.

Best Camellya Builds in Wuthering Waves Patch 1.4

Camellya is what one can call a very noob-friendly character. Her attacks are basic hack and slash type and apart from that, all you need to do is buff those attacks. Her special attack even reminds you of Poison Ivy as she dangles from a vine and dishes out massive DPS. All that said, here are the best weapons and best Echoes for Camellya in Wuthering Waves patch 1.4.

• Best Echoes: Sun-Sinking Eclipse Sonata is by far the best to have. It is advisable to acquire all five pieces as soon as possible. For the Echoes, go for the basic 4,3,3,1,1 build where the 4-Cost will increase Crit Rate and DMG. Consecutive 3-Costs will give her Havoc DMG bonus, and the remaining 1-Costs will simply increase ATK%.
  – 4-Cost Echoes: Crownless Sun-Sinking Eclipse
  – 3-Cost Echoes: Dreamless Sun-Sinking Eclipse
  – 1-Cost Echoes: Mech ABomination Lingering Tunes
• Best Weapon: The best weapon for Camellya is the newly released Red Spring Sword. Not only does it increase her ATK DMG by 12%, but also buffs up her ATK DMG by 12% for the next 12 seconds upon striking an enemy with a basic attack. The buff procs once every second and one can even stack it up to five times if played correctly.
  Since it is a new weapon, one might find it difficult to acquire one. So any other weapon that improves basic ATM DMG will also work. Some good alternatives to the Red Spring are Lumingloss, Blazing Brilliance, Emerald of Genesis, etc.

Best Squads to Pair With Camellya in Wuthering Waves

Ever since Camellya was announced, everyone started theory-crafting about what would be the best squad. And the entire community unanimously decided that only three other characters could work with Camellya.

While Shorekeeper is indispensable, one can choose between Sanhua and Danjin according to their preferences when pairing with Camellya. Sanhua being one of the best healers in Wuthering Waves, her presence is wanted in the squad. Her Stellarrealm also ramps up a lot of DMG boost for Camellya.

However, when it comes to Danjin and Sanhua, depending on the boosts you require, either can work with Camellya. While Sanhua boosts basic attack DMG boost helping Camellya, Danjin’s ability to boost all Havoc-type damage makes her a great squad member too.
