YouTube has finally expanded its Auto Dubbing Feature to hundreds and thousands of channels. The feature rolled out under the YouTube Partner Program which focuses mainly on knowledge and information. The music streaming platform says in its blog post that now creators from all over the world can connect easily even if they don’t know the language. The auto dubbing feature will now make it easier for people to learn anything even if the content is not available in their language. It will make the content more accessible.
Here’s How the Auto Dubbing Feature Works:
STEP1: Upload Your Video
The first step in using the auto dubbing feature is to just open the video and if it’s in a different language, the app will automatically detect the language and create a dubbed version in other languages.
STEP2: Watch Video
You can find your dubbed videos in the YouTube Studio which is present under the Languages section. You can listen to the dubbed video and if you are okay with it, you can publish them, and if not then you can delete them too.
STEP3: Head to YouTube Studio
If YouTube is available for your channel then you will be able to find it in the Advanced Settings. Additionally, you can choose to review the dubbed section before publishing.
Languages That You Can Use for Auto Dubbing:
If your video or content is in English then you can dub it into French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish. However, if your video is in any of these languages, then you can dub it in English. YouTube will also remember your language preference for the future.
YouTube says that it will keep working towards making the feature more accurate, expressive, and natural.
