You don’t need to be a skincare fanatic to know that there are certain products that come with a much heftier price tag than others, but true fans are able to spot when certain items give you luxury results with a budget-friendly cost. As Zara McDermott admits, she absolutely loves all things skincare, which is why she was quick to spot the similarities between Clarins’ Double Serum and the L'Oréal Paris Le Duo Anti-Ageing Serum.
Posting on her Instagram, Zara wrote: “It’s like Clarins Double Serum (but less oily and more silky) for a third of the price??? My skin is so insanely soft to the point where I forgot to put moisturiser on after using it.”

Both serums are designed to target signs of ageing and to help create softer, smoother skin, which makes the main difference between the two their price tag. Whilst the Clarins serum will set you back £65 for 30ml, the L’Oreal one is usually £37.99 for 30ml, which is already a big difference.
However, Superdrug currently has the L'Oréal Paris Le Duo Anti-Ageing Serum on offer, slashing it down to £18.99. This not only saves you almost £20 on the L’Oreal one, but £45 if you were originally planning on buying the Clarins Double Serum.

Superdrug)The L'Oréal Paris Le Duo Anti-Ageing Serum helps your skin look visibly younger and more radiant, and creates a firmer, more even skin tone. It also minimises the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as intensely nourishing and smoothing your complexion, leaving it super soft.
Zara also added to her Instagram story: “I am shook at this serum. I tried it for the first time the other day, this is my second time. If you want to look like a glazed donut then this is right up your street,” as she referred to the dewy, ultra-hydrated finish the serum leaves on your skin.
However, if you’re a die hard fan of the Clarins Double Serum, you’ll be happy to know that it’s currently on sale at Debenhams, with 25% off its usual price. That means you can get the £65 30ml bottle for £48.75, whilst the 50ml bottle which is usually £92 is now £69, with a £118 75ml bottle slashed to £88.50.
Elsewhere, Boots is also running a major sale on skincare for Advantage Card holders, which includes the beloved Olay Super Serum. Usually retailing for £39.99, shoppers with a Boots Advantage Card can currently get it for £19.99, saving you £20.
