Zayn Mailk has made a heartbreaking move to honour his late One Direction bandmate and 'brother' Liam Payne whose funeral is expected to take place today.
Payne, 31, left the entire world in mourning last month when he tragically passed away on October 16 after falling from his third floor balcony suite at a hotel in Argentina.
Following a devastating five-week wait for his family and loved ones, Liam will finally be laid to rest today in the Home Counties and all of his One Direction band members are expected to be in attendance
Zayn had been scheduled to play a show in Edinburgh tonight in his first ever solo tour 'Stairway to the Sky' but announced to fans last week that his two Scottish gigs had now been postponed due to "unforeseen circumstances".
A statement on his social media read: " "Due to unforeseen circumstances Zayn’s ‘Stairway to The Sky’ Edinburgh show originally scheduled for November 20 has been rescheduled to December 8.
"And the Edinburgh show originally scheduled for November 21 has been rescheduled for December 9. All tickets for original show dates will be honoured on the rescheduled dates."

It comes after the 31-year-old also postponed some US tour dates when news of Liam's death first broke on October 16.
Zayn shot to global fame as a teen on X-Factor in 2010 alongside Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Niall Horan when the five boys were merged into boyband One Direction. Their reunion today will come as their first in over nine years.
The Dusk till Dawn star left the band in 2015 and in a heartbreaking tribute to Liam, he revealed he had never gotten round to thanking him for helping him through "some of the most difficult times" of his life.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: "Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can't help but think selfishly that there was so many more conversations for us to have in our lives. I never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life.
"When I was missing home as a 17 yr old kid you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know you were my friend and that I was loved. Even though you were younger than me you were always more sensible than me, you were headstrong, opinionated, and gave no f***s about telling people when they were wrong.
"Even though we butted heads because of this a few times, I always secretly respected you for it. I was always happy to know, no matter what happened on stage we could always rely on you to know which way to steer the ship next. I lost a brother when you left us and can't explain to you what l'd give to just give you a hug one last time and say goodbye."
It comes after Zayn's sister took to Instagram to defend her brother following news of his rescheduled tour dates.
Waliyha, 26, wrote: "Give respect to Zayn, you don't know what he's going through. Today is a month since his brother has been gone."
Despite embarking on a solo career almost a decade ago now, Zayn's upcoming tour is his first since leaving One Direction in March 2015.
His Edinburgh shows at the O2 Academy on November 20 and 21 have now been rescheduled to December 8 and 9 2024.
