Zendaya Shows Off Ring at First Appearance Since Tom Holland Engagement News: See Photos

Zendaya might as well be on an engagement press tour!

The 28-year-old star stepped out in West Hollywood, Calif., on Monday night to attend a special screening of Challengers, where she was seen sporting her 5-carat engagement ring, once again. See below for the pics:

ICYMI, Zendaya first sent the internet into a frenzy when she casually showed up at the Golden Globes on January 5 with a giant rock on *that* finger, and TMZ later came through with the news we’ve all been waiting for: Zendaya and Tom Holland got engaged over the holidays.

According to the outlet, Tom popped the question between Christmas and New Year’s in a super intimate moment at one of Zendaya’s family homes in the uS. Sources said it was just the two of them, making it extra special.

While Tom wasn’t at the event, he has a good reason for skipping red carpets with his fiancée. In a Men’s Health interview from January 2025, he explained: “Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.”

While the couple has kept much of their relationship private, they’ve spilled some sweet details here and there.

In a November 2024 Vanity Fair interview, Zendaya raved about working with Tom: “You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him.”

For his part, the British actor also spoke about what it’s been like to act alongside Zendaya while appearing on a December 2024 episode of the “Dish” podcast.

“Studios love it. One hotel room. Separate drivers. We’re not crazy now. Listen it’s work, alright?” he joked, before explaining: “Oh God, yeah. It’s a saving grace. Yeah, best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he said. “It’s just that perfect thing when you’re on set and a director will give you a note that maybe you don’t agree with, or I know that she doesn’t particularly like, and it’s just that, like, familiar glance at each other of like, can’t wait to talk about that later.”
