Zoe Saldaña doesn't typically bring her husband and kids to events, but when she does, they show up in style.
The 46-year-old actress attended the Monday, December 2, premiere of Emilia Perez at the National Museum of Cinema in Turin, Italy. The Avatar star was accompanied by her husband, Marco Perego, and their three sons: twins Bowie Ezio and Cy Aridio, 10, and Zen Anton Hilario, 7.
Saldaña posed for photos on the red carpet alongside her family while holding the Stella della Mole award, which she was honored with during the premiere. The actress, who plays Rita Mora Castro in the film, has already been generating buzz for her performance, with fans taking to the comments section of the trailer on YouTube to share their reactions.
One fan wrote, "ZOE'S RANGE IS TOP TIER!!! QUEEN!!," while a second noted, "First time seeing [Saldaña] playing a regular role, mostly seen her in Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy." A third fan simply wrote, "BEST ACTRESS: ZOE SALDANA," seemingly implying that her performance in the movie could win her an Academy Award.
In October, the Guardians of the Galaxy star shared a picture of herself in full makeup for Gamora, the character she brings to life in the Marvel movies, while playing with her kids. In the caption of the post, Saldaña wrote, "Being on the road is hard when you're away from your children. To all the moms out there making the ultimate sacrifice for their dreams. Those dreams are their's too! Trust the process... #momlife."
Saldaña and Perego met, started dating, and married in 2013. The union was confirmed in September 2013 by a source who told People that the two tied the knot in an intimate, secret ceremony in the summer. The couple welcomed twins Bowie Ezio and Cy Aridio on November 27, 2014. Their youngest, Zen Anton Hilario, was born on December 12, 2016.
