According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN, the San Francisco 49ers have officially designated left tackle Trent Williams as inactive with an ankle injury in their Week 12 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Williams will be sitting out alongside quarterback Brock Purdy, cornerback Charvarius Ward, defensive end Nick Bosa, wide receiver Jacob Cowing, defensive tackle Kevin Givens, and defensive tackle Khalil Davis.
Williams is an integral part of the 49ers' offense, especially since Purdy won't be playing at quarter back.
Needless to say, this will have a huge impact as San Francisco needs a big win over Green Bay today.
