50 Cent usually takes the bully stance, but he might have met his match this week. The 49-year-old rapper went back and forth with Busta Rhymes over their past hairstyles.

The G-Unit leader kicked things off when he speculated that the “Touch It” artist painted his hair on his head. “Nah why crazy sh*t be happening and [ninja emoji]’s don’t say nothing,” he wrote in the caption of an Instagram video showing Busta’s hair. “I think @fatjoe, Khaled and Tyson need to intervene here. Lol WTF.”

Fif also added some voiceover on the clip: ““How this ni**a Busta paint his whole hair on? How the f**k you let him go outside looking like that, Joe? What the f**k is going on here, man?” The East Flatbush legend upped the ante by posting a photo of the “In Da Club” rapper with a rare curly hair look.

“WHEN YOU GOT THIS TYPE A CRAZY SH*T GOIN AND NOBODY IS SAYING NOTHING??” Busta Rhymes wrote in the caption. “WHAT TYPE ADVISORS YOU LISTENING TO BRUH??? WHAT THE F**K IN A 100 JARS OF TCB GEL TYPE SH*T IS THIS MY NI**A?? @50cent C’MON MAN!! BY THE WAY FIF, THIS SH*T LOOK LIKE YA JERRY CURL STINK TOO BRUDDAH!!”

Of course, 50 Cent couldn’t let it go. “I got a leather jacket, this n**ga Busta got a leather lineup,” he wrote in another post. He then posted a photo of Busta with Mona Scott-Young and wrote, “Mona is thinking oh my God he painted his head. LOL  hahahaha I’m done with you [ninja emoji]’s.”

The 52-year-old rapper might have ended the battle once and for all when he shared a screenshot of 50 from the 2011 movie All Things Fall Apart; he shaved his head and lost a significant amount of weight for the role. “THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE AIN’T NEVER GONNA STOP!!” Busta wrote. “DAMN @50cent YOU WAS MY #1 CUSTI WHEN I USED TO SELL CRACK HOMIE. [crying laughing emoji] DAMN YOUR HAIR LINE BEEN F**KED UP SINCE THEN BRUH!!”

Of course, those familiar with their recent history know this was all in good fun. 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes hit the road together on 50’s The Final Lap Tour last year, and they also appeared on “Victory 2004” several years ago alongside Diddy, Lloyd Banks, the late Notorious B.I.G., and more.
