In his viral Breakfast Club interview, 50 Cent was asked about Power star Omari Hardwick’s comments about his alleged low pay.
Hardwick recently claimed that he should have been paid more as he carried the show.
“I think he overvalues himself,” 50 said. “Because…it’s been a long time since he’s been in Power, why are we not excited about the new projects?”
Hardwick appeared on The Pivot podcast back in 2022, where he revealed that he made $150K per episode of Power. He says that he should have been paid much more as he was the “face of the network.”
50 was quick to point out that since leaving Power, nobody has been excited about any of his future projects.
“See, that’s what I’m talking about,” 50 declared. “If there was noise going on, if he was that big of a draw, then we would see noise, we would see new things happening, we’d see you out where you’re actively in a place where they’re looking for you.”
