90 Day Fiancé alum Leida Margaretha‘s estranged husband, Eric Rosenbrook, has filed for a restraining order against his wife following the former TLC star’s recent arrest, In Touch can confirm.
Leida, 35, must now “have no contact” with Eric “or their residence,” according to online records viewed by In Touch, which include the exception that Eric, 47, “may waive the no contact provision by filing written permission for said contact with the Clerk of Circuit Court’s office upon proof of completion of a Safety Plan with Hope House.”
90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates was first to report the update on her charges and restraining order.
In Touch can confirm that Leida was officially charged with domestic while armed, mistreating an animal, disorderly conduct and felony bail jump during the scheduled court date on Monday, January 27. A judge set her bail at $1000 during the video hearing.
Looking ahead, a pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 3 and a status conference is scheduled for April 28.
The development came after Leida spoke out amid the drama and accused Eric of abuse, which he has since denied.
“MY HUSBAND PHYSICALLY ABUSED ME. I WON’T BE SILENT ANYMORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” Leida wrote via Instagram Stories alongside a photo of what appeared to be her bruised eye. “I LET EVERYBODY KNOW WHY I FILED FOR A DIVORCE BACK IN 2024. I WON’T BE SILENCED ANYMORE. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”
Eric fired back in a statement to In Touch, claiming Leida hasn’t shared all of the information.
“What she has posted is not the whole story,” Eric wrote in a statement on January 25.
The exes appeared on the TLC series during the flagship show’s sixth season in 2018 and said they were making their exit after allegedly receiving death threats.
“We put our lives in danger. We put our lives on the frontline. This is not fair,” Leida shared that December, adding that death threats are “not acceptable” under any circumstances. “This is not worth it all. We are never going to do this again.”
“If I made those death threats by myself I wouldn’t let the authorities [get] involved. Whoever says, ‘Boohoo Leida, this is on you’ … I pray you will never experience the same way like I have,” she stated at the time.
As In Touch previously reported, Leidi landed herself in hot water more than a year after her last run-in with the law.
The reality star was arrested for theft and wire fraud in October 2023 after she was suspected of stealing thousands of dollars from her workplace. Leida was faced with felony charges from “a business setting, fraudulent data alteration, forgery and wire fraud against a financial institution,” according to legal records that were viewed by In Touch.
She ultimately pleaded not guilty to the charges in July 2024. Her charges of felony wire fraud, fraud against a financial institution and theft charges were dismissed in December 2024.
In December, In Touch learned that Leida’s separate felony charges for bail jumping, theft of a business setting > $10,000 to $100,000 and wire fraud against a financial institution were still active via online records.
