90 Day Fiancé star Adnan Abdelfattah went to the hospital as he struggled to breathe while his wife, Tigerlily, ignored his calls following an argument.
Two months after Tigerlily, 41, left Adnan, 22, in Jordan, she explained that they had been having problems during the Sunday, October 27, episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. While she initially left Jordan as a happy newlywed, Tigerlily said that Adnan’s strict rules were causing problems in their relationship.
While speaking to her hairstylist and friend Cruz, Tigerlily said “everything started changing” once she returned to the United States. “It feels like he has a rule about every single thing in my life, and we just keep running into issue after issue,” she added in a confessional.
In addition to revealing that Adnan didn’t want her to wear certain clothes, Tigerlily said that she and her husband had an argument about her chiropractor. “He went on social media and sends me this video like, do you want me to accept this?” she told Cruz, explaining the clip showed a woman having her back cracked.
Tigerlily claimed that Adnan asked her to stop seeing her chiropractor and that she only schedule future appointments with “all women” moving forward.
In light of the disagreement, Tigerlily chose to not answer Adnan’s calls the next morning. He then became so upset that she refused to talk to him that he went to the hospital for “breathing problems and dizziness.”
Cruz appeared concerned and said Adnan’s behavior wasn’t “normal,” adding, “That’s him trying to kind of manipulate you, if you ask me.”
“I also think he’s playing it up a little bit to get some sympathy from me because this is just a little much,” she responded, agreeing with her friend’s concerns.
Not only did Cruz express concerns about Adnan’s behavior, but he also worried about the couple’s plan to have a child soon. However, Tigerlily insisted they were only in a rush due to her age.
“With us only seeing each other every two months, how do I know that time when we see each other is going to be a good fertility window for us?” she explained, noting their plans to try to conceive the next time she’s in Jordan. “And so we’re really limited.”
Despite Tigerlily’s explanation, Cruz encouraged her to put off “procreating” until she and Adnan are able to work through their issues. “I really do feel like they love each other, but I don’t know if that’s going to be enough,” he added in a confessional.
The episode continued with Tigerlily and Adnan getting into another fight when she said she had an issue with him posting a shirtless photo in the shower on social media. “So now, it’s just added to the list of all the things to talk about,” the Texas resident said. “I don’t even want to walk on the eggshells anymore. I’m just totally, totally irritated.”
The couple first connected after Tigerlily followed Adnan on social media because she believed he was “perfect.” The pair then started video chatting all the time, and she agreed to travel to Jordan to meet him in person four months later. They also agreed to get married the same day they met in person due to his Muslim faith, and she went through with the plan despite her friends’ concerns.
