90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Corona isn’t done trolling her ex-boyfriend, Ingi.
Corona, 30, shared a selfie of her and Igni, 37, via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, November 20. She called out the Iceland native’s prominent forehead by adding a zoomed-in view of it in a split screen, making a slight dig at her ex by captioning it, “Throwback to that one time I thought I was in love [laughing emoji].”
The midwifery student has been airing out her side of the story of her split from Ingi following their appearance on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The pair appeared on the season’s tell-all as the only couple in attendance who were no longer together.
Fans watched as the Pennsylvania native moved her life overseas and to Iceland to be with Ingi, whom she met on a crazy night out. “I remember standing; he was standing in the doorway, like some Nordic statue,” she recalled during the premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in July. “I was exhausted and he let me take a nap in his bed. This is like a quality guy. I’m moving to Iceland because I did not want it to end.”
Corona, who had given up a spot in a prestigious midwifery program, quickly discovered that the move to Iceland meant her education would be temporarily put on hold, as all courses there were taught in Icelandic. Corona also questioned Ingi’s commitment to her, as her friends accused him of being out with other women at bars, along with his apparent uncertainty about wanting to marry her in the first place.
Although the season finale showed Corona grappling with the decision to return to the United States to finish her education, things took a turn as the couple’s split was confirmed to be in June, seemingly months after production for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way had wrapped.
Corona spoke out about her relationship with Ingi on November 12, days before part one of the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way tell-all aired on TLC. She shared a trailer for the special, which included a scene where she flipped the camera off when asked by host Shaun Robinson about her relationship status with Ingi.
“I’ve had so much people message me since I posted that clip of the tell-all, ‘Omg what happened? Spill the tea. Omg, you guys aren’t together anymore?’” she said in a video clip posted in an additional slide. “Y’all the tell-all airs next week, just wait until next week. I cannot spill any tea that hasn’t been spilled but in that little clip, I can tell y’all I called him a ‘punk ass bitch’ and that is the truth. Never met more of a bitch in my life. That’s all I can say.”
She also clapped back against claims Ingi reportedly made with an Icelandic news source, where he said his then-girlfriend signed up to film the reality TV series as a joke.
“Y’all think I just go around claiming that ugly f–king ogre ass dofus for s–ts and gigs? You think if I coulda said the relationship was fake the whole time, I wouldn’t?” she said in another slide. “I would love that, that sounds great. Of course not, of course, it was fake. How could I be with that f–king ugly ass ogre dofus looking stupid son of a bitch? But I was, but I was.”
Corona then laid out a timeline of events, telling her followers that they stopped filming in February, applied for fiancé visas in April, but broke up by June.
She then shared receipts of her filing for Ingi’s fiancé visa, showing a received date of May 2, 2024. “Correction. We stopped filming in February 2024. We applied for our fiancé visa in MAY 2024!! But yes, please keep believing these bulls–t ass lies that I was all fake and we broke up before filming,” she wrote as a caption. “We almost eloped in Vegas in April. That’s another story. DODGED A BOZOOKA!”
