A Survivor 47 Player Has Already Been Cast for Survivor 50: Who Could It Be?

2 hours ago 1

It’s hard to believe that Survivor 47 only has two episodes left. This season has been a wild ride from the start, with an interesting cast and some crazy advantages. The finale will air in two two-hour episodes, which will end with the jury voting for the Sole Survivor. Several players in the final six have played great games. No matter who gets to the Final Tribal Council, it will surely be a close vote.

Survivor 48 is set to air in the spring but many viewers are more concerned with Survivor 50. The landmark season will feature returning players from past seasons. A good handful of these competitors are expected to come from the New Era. Jeff Probst has confirmed that a player from Survivor 47 will be invited, which is great news for New Era fans. Survivor 50 will supposedly be about second chances, so there are multiple Survivor 47 players that Jeff could be referring to. Here are our predictions for who it may be!

Survivor 47: Rome Cooney

Rome Cooney had a lot of screen time during the first few episodes, where he was a major player. During the premiere, Rome found an idol and later secured a steal-a-vote advantage on a journey. Unfortunately, Rome came off as too confident to the other players, which resulted in him being the sixth eliminated of the season.

Despite his short run, Rome left a significant impact on Survivor 47. During his final tribal council, Rome even had the opportunity to sit in Jeff’s seat. It’s evident that despite his controversial behavior, Jeff had a soft spot for Rome. Survivor 50 will be a second chance for great players, and if anyone could benefit from a second chance, it’s Rome. His gameplay was very strategic, so if he came in with a better attitude, he could be a force to be reckoned with.

Survivor 47: Gabe Ortis

Another Survivor 47 player who could return for Survivor 50 is Gabe Ortis. At the start of the season, Gabe became a power player in the Tuku tribe. Gabe found an idol and played it early on while doing well with his social and strategy games. During the merge, the rest of the contestants caught on to Gabe’s threat level. He was voted out during the final nine, making him the third member of the jury.

On his way out, Gabe told Jeff that he would be back. This seemed to be hinting at Survivor 50, which Gabe could very well be selected for. Gabe left his mark on the season and could definitely be brought back to play again.

Survivor 47: Genevieve Mushaluk

Genevieve Mushaluk was voted out at the final five, which means she could likely return for Survivor 50. On Survivor 47, Genevieve played an aggressive game. She didn’t hesitate to take out threats like Kishan Patel and Sol Yi. Unfortunately for Genevieve, the other players became scared of her strategic gameplay. This led to them ultimately voting her out before she could make the final four.

After her run on Survivor 47, Genevieve is a contender for the spot on Survivor 50. Genevieve proved herself to be a great player, who would be a lot of fun to watch again. If Genevieve returns for Survivor 50, she will have another chance to improve her social game. By balancing her social game with her strategic one, Genevieve would truly be unstoppable.

Survivor 47: Andy Rueda

Like Genevieve, Andy Rueda was voted off the island during the first part of the Survivor 47 finale. Andy played an interesting game, where he didn’t hesitate to take risks. During the premiere, Andy had a meltdown in front of all of the other contestants after his Gata tribe lost the immunity challenge. After that, however, Andy proved himself to be quite a skilled player. He led multiple big moves, including the blindside on Sierra Wright and Operation Italy.

Unfortunately, Andy’s fellow player caught on to his threat level before he could win the game. After his unique run this season, Andy is also a contender for Survivor 50. Andy makes great television and would certainly add a lot of entertainment to Survivor 50. Andy deserves a second chance after coming so close on Survivor 47. Survivor 50 would be his perfect chance for a great redemption story.

Survivor continues Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
