Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards aren’t pulling punches when it comes to their drama on Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And we’re not just getting the tea during the episodes but also during the After Show.
The duo shared more details about their feud after the episode with Dorit sharing that she thought Kyle was reaching when it came to her reasons for being upset with her in the first place.
It’s no secret that these two have been on the outs for a while now. We’re seeing more of the fallout in the new season including an explosive confrontation in the third episode. Their argument over dinner left the other housewives (especially the new ones) feeling confused and caught in the hurricane. Newcomer Bozoma Saint John especially looked incredibly awkward as the two former friends went at it over dinner.
Small grievances fed a big feud
During the After Show, Bozoma told Dorit that it was essential for the girls to listen to what each other had to say first. After that, they can candidly share how they feel. And share they did!
Kyle said that she felt they had nowhere to go in their relationship and during that conversation.
“I don’t think this is going anywhere,” Kyle shared. “Maybe it’s time to just walk away. I can be patient to a certain degree because I know what she’s going through. But then I’m like, you know what? Now you’re just another problem for me in my life that I don’t need.”
For her part, Dorit shared that she felt that Kyle was grasping at straws. “Her being mad at me for not sticking [up] for a friend (mostly of hers), just felt like a big stretch,” Dorit explained.
“It’s not to say she can’t have those feelings. But we were good friends. And how do you go from that to being isolated because I didn’t stick up for Teddi on some stage where I didn’t want to give life to some troll.”
However, it looks like small things can lead to big hurts. Looking back, Kyle claims Dorit hurt her at BravoCon when she jokingly said Kyle was her least favorite Richard’s sister and when she didn’t defend Teddi. Dorit said Kyle iced her out and was hurt when Kyle said she exaggerated their friendship. And it just continued to snowball from there. And now, one has to wonder if there is a way back.
Even Dorit is questioning their relationship. “You’ve made me feel like is this friendship even worth fighting for?”
I guess we’ll have to wait for the next episodes to see if she and Kyle decide to fight for their relationship or just walk away.
