Abbey Clancy has joked about her love life as she reveals she and Peter Crouch slept in the same bed several times before having sex.
In the latest episode of the couple’s podcast, The Therapy Crouch released on Tuesday, the couple were joined by comedian Joel Dommett and his wife Hannah Cooper.
From not knowing how old she is to banning her family from using the front door, Abbey has frequently spoken about her husband’s quirky habits.
But in the latest episode, she revealed a little bit about their sex lives when they first got together in 2006.
During the episode, Abbey, 38, revealed that she and Peter, 43, didn’t immediately jump into bed together as she joked that she was a bit cold with him.
‘You took me to the pub opposite your house. He was like “You want to come back to mine? I can see my window from here” I was like “No take me home now!”‘
Abbey then admitted: ‘We slept in the same bed before having sex – like, multiple times. I’m a bit of a fridge.’
‘I remember it well,’ joked Peter. ‘It was great, yeah I loved it.’
The couple met in Liverpool in 2006 after meeting in a bar, but Abbey revealed their first date wasn’t exactly plain sailing.
‘Did he make you buy him a drink on the first date? Because Pete made me buy one. I’ve never bought a drink in my entire life until I went out with you.’
She explained that she was a teenager when she met him with no money. ‘Bear in mind I was like 19 at the time. I was living with my mom, I had a job I was on like 15 quid a week or whatever it was.
Abbey revealed she’d asked her mum for money but her mother said no. ‘So I had like £7 to go on this date with Peter. And then I said “Oh, I’ll get the next one” and he went “Oh, I’ll have a Guinness”.
‘I was thinking “S**t, how much is a Guinness? I’ve got £7 in my pocket.” So I came back with a Guinness and a tap water.’
She then lied and told Peter that she was just thirsty which is why she didn’t get herself an alcoholic drink.
‘But still, I shouldn’t have to buy my own drinks!’ she added.
The couple is set to celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary this year, and 19 years together in total.
The couple has four children: two sons and two daughters. Sophia Ruby was born in March 2011, Liberty Rose was born in June 2015, Johnny was born in January 2018, and Jack was born in June 2019.
