Duchess of Cambridge releases photos to mark 40th birthday
Princess Kate looked stylish and sophisticated when she donned a designer ensemble from Alexander McQueen on her birthday and wowed onlookers. Today, she turns 43 years old and is expected to celebrate in private, but three years ago she was out on a show-stopping display.
Kensington Palace shared a selection of stunning images that captured the Princess of Wales on the milestone occasion. The style icon oozed confidence while remaining poised and elegant.
Italian fashion photographer Paolo Roversi captured the pictures. The Vogue photographer is acclaimed for his abstract and romantic images and he was able to snap just that in their cover.
She wore a regal one-shoulder red dress with a statement puffy sleeve. This was the ‘Asymmetric Draped Sleeve Anemone print dress’ from Alexander McQueen which retailed at £3,450.
