After roasting food in the oven, your trays can end up in a bad state. To get them clean, you don't need to spend hours scrubbing them. Instead, use a certain natural item cleaning pros dub as "the unsung hero of kitchen cleaning".

Oven trays always seem to end up with stained burnt-on residue that only gets more and more stuck with each successive use.
This can cause the baking tray to look discoloured and dirty and can even create an unsanitary environment in which to cook food.
While it may seem like your tray is hopelessly soiled beyond the point of no return, there is one natural product many don’t know about that cleaners love.
When it comes to natural cleaning products, vinegar and baking soda typically take the top spot.
However, there is another option that works fantastically on oven trays, and that’s liquid soda crystals.

For this cleaning tip, households will also need one cup of baking soda. Start by sprinkling the baking soda onto the tray.
Then, add half a cup of liquid soda crystal and fill the tray with boiling water.
Place the tray on the hob and turn it onto a low heat. Leave to simmer for 30 to 40 minutes (until you see the worst areas start to lift).
The tray was then rinsed, and all the grease and grime from the tray were washed off.
Cleaning fans in the comments were left amazed by the results and had no clue liquid soda crystals could be so effective.
@jonesydoeshome wrote: “What a great result! I never think to use soda crystals.”
@mummycleans said: “I need to get some soda crystals now.”@rabiassaeed commented: “Wow looks like new.”
One user asked if liquid soda crystals would work as well as this on air fryer baskets and the experts replied “Absolutely”.
