Acer has launched two new handheld PCs, the Nitro Blaze 8 and 11 with higher resolution displays powered by AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processors. The new devices were launched at CES, where other technology companies are also announcing updates to new handhelds.

The Nitro Blaze 8 and 11 follow the Blaze 7, which was announced in September 2024. Compared to that, the newly announced devices include bigger displays but keep the same Ryzen 7 mobile processor. The displays are also higher resolution, so expect decreased performance on them using the same chip.
