Addison Rae is opening up about her dramatic breakup with Bryce Hall, and she’s not holding back.
The “Diet Pepsi” singer, now 24, shared some fresh insights about her high-profile relationship with the TikTok star, 25, and their rocky split(s) back in 2020 and 2021. In an interview with Rolling Stone this month, Addison reflected on how that chapter shaped her approach to love.
“I’m very guarded when it comes to relationships because my first public relationship taught me a lot about myself,” she revealed. For those who might’ve missed the saga, Addison and Bryce were a TikTok power couple in 2020, sharing their relationship—and a lot of dancing—with millions of followers.
But not everything was sunshine and viral trends. “I think he cheated on me,” Addison told the outlet. “He says he didn’t.”
Their breakup made waves online, but while Addison chose to keep things private, Bryce didn’t exactly stay quiet. “That was a s—t show,” she admitted. “He was very vocal about everything, and it was a mess.”
Despite all the drama, Addison says she’s left the bitterness behind. “I believe there’s good in everyone, so I like to think there’s a good part of him,” she shared. “We were really young.”
The pair have spoken in details about their split in the past, describing the relationship as complicated but mutual in its end. Bryce told Entertainment Tonight in October 2020, “[The breakup] was kind of mutual. Both of us agreed. We’re still really good friends. Last time I talked to her [was] probably a few days ago. We don’t talk on a daily basis, but yeah, [we’re friends].”
Addison echoed similar sentiments during her own interview with ET a month earlier, explaining that their relationship had its ups and downs. “There were a lot of times we were on, we were off, and it was kind of just like, a confusing situation,” she said at the time. “Right now, we’re just kind of both deciding that, you know, there are a lot of things going on in both of our lives that we really need to focus on and figure out.”
Ultimately, Addison said she wanted to prioritize her family, career, and long-term goals. “I think Bryce also has a lot going on and things that he has to figure out as well, and I wish him the best of luck in it all,” she added at the time.
Fast forward to today, and Addison has moved on with music producer Omer Fedi. During her Rolling Stone interview, she confirmed their relationship is still going strong.
