Congratulations are in order for former AFL player Chad Wingard!
The footy star has officially tied the knot with his fiancée Lilly Lloyd just months after announcing their engagement.
Wingard and Lloyd shared the exciting relationship update in a joint Instagram post, revealing the got hitched on December 1 .

The newlyweds shared several stunning photos taken from their small wedding.
In the first picture, the couple held hands as the posed in their wedding attire.

Wingard looked dapper for the occasion, opting for a linen suit jacket and matching trousers from Houndstooth Tailors in Melbourne, paired with casual loafers.
Meanwhile the bride looked radiant in a classic white dress with a twist.
Instead of a traditional full length gown and veil, Lloyd opted for an elegant minidress with a sweetheart neckline. She paired the bridal look with matching white pointed toe heels, adorned with some bling on the top.

As for her jewellery, Lloyd kept it chic with a simple string of pearls around her neck and a couple of gold bangle bracelets.
The bride finished off her look with her hair out in a stunning '90s-style blowout.
In another photo, Lloyd held a bouquet of white lilies as her and Wingard walked hand-in-hand with their loved ones in the background cheering them on.

The couple continued the celebrations with a small sit-down dinner reception with their family and friends, complete with a white tiered cake with the words, "The Wingards" piped in black icing on top.
The post was inundated with messages of congratulations to the newlyweds.
Wingard's former teams Hawthorn Football Club and Port Adelaide both offered their congratulations to the footy star.

The relationship update comes just seven months after Wingard proposed.
On April 25, 2024, the former AFL player revealed he had got down on one knee in a vineyard and asked Lloyd to marry him.

Wingard shared the news with photos from the proposal, including a close-up snap of Lloyd wearing the gorgeous diamond ring set on a gold band.
"24/04/24 – she said yes 💍" the footy alum captioned the heartwarming post.
Wingard has occasionally shared snippets of his relationship to social media, including a getaway the pair went on to Marnong Estate in Victoria in June.
The athlete shared a photo of Lloyd in holiday mode from their romantic time away.
At the end of 2022 they travelled to Italy together.
Wingard's nuptials comes three months after he announced his retirement from AFL in September 2024 after 218 games.
