Age-Defying Billionaire Sharing Intimate Details About Son Shocks Internet

3 hours ago 2

Bryan Johnson, the American tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist, known for his attempts to extend his life and try to live forever, has raised eyebrows online after sharing data about his son's erections.

Newsweek has reached out to Johnson via an online form for comment.

Why It Matters

Johnson is the subject of fascination on the internet, and he recently starred in a Netflix documentary about his life titled: Don't Die: The Man Who Wants To Live Forever, which was released earlier this month. He has 1.3 million followers on Instagram and 468,000 on X.

What To Know

In a post on X, which has been viewed 6.9 million times at the time of reporting, Johnson shared "nighttime erection data from my 19-year-old son." The post details the number of erections, the total duration of the erection and the average quality of the erection.

The post has shocked social media users. But it's not new for Johnson, who is public about his pursuit to "de-age" his penis.

In a December blog post from Johnson, titled, "How I'm de-ageing my penis," Johnson wrote that "If you're not having robust boners at night, you're 70% more likely to die prematurely. If you're grinding at the expense of your health, you're flaccid."

This exact claim does not appear to be backed up by scientific evidence; however, according to a study from The University of Mississippi, men who have erectile dysfunction have an increased risk of premature death. There has not been significant medical research into the correlation between "robust boners at night" and premature death.

Johnson shares in the blog post that he measures his nighttime erections as a way of measuring the health of his penis. He shares in the post that his "Nighttime erections are the length of Titanic, 3 hours and 14 minutes."

The post on X takes a similar form to the blog post but focuses on his son's erections rather than his own. Johnson, who in the post advised people to "Raise children to stand tall, be firm and be upright," told his followers that his son's nighttime erections are two minutes longer than his own.

His son shared the post on his account on X and wrote, "I'm grateful for the way my dad has raised me."

What People Are Saying

Some social media users were taken aback by the post, with one user writing, "Legitimately the most insane thing I've ever read," in response to a post, and another commenting "What the f***."

Johnson recently told The Guardian: "I'm a professional rejuvenation athlete. I'm creating a new sport and a new way to understand reality. Death is always inevitable, but I'm asking this question: are we the first generation that won't die?"

What's Next

Johnson is active on social media, and shares a lot about his pursuit to extend his life. This isn't the first time he has shocked the internet, and likely isn't the last.
