Airtel introduces accidental insurance with three plans; Check details

Airtel is leaving no stone unturned to offer better services and benefits than other telecom service providers. Now, the telecom giant has partnered with ICICI Lombard to provide accidental insurance to users on a few selected plans. As of now, there are only three plans with which Airtel is offering accidental insurance.

The plans in effect are Rs 969, Rs 399, and Rs 239. Customers who go for any of these plans will be authorized by Airtel to share their personal information with ICICI Lombard for the Group Safeguard Accident Insurance Policy. Moving forward we will discuss all the benefits and the insurance value related to these plans.

Airtel Accidental Insurance Plans

Airtel Rs 239 plan: This is the cheapest plan from the list offering 2GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice calling. The plans comes with an accidental insurance that provides Rs 1,00,000 for death and Rs 25,000 for disability for hospitalization of a person in a period of 30 days from the recharge. The plan validity is 28 days and the insurance will be valid for 30 days.

Airtel Rs 399 plan: This plan offers a 28 days validity, 2GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice calling. The insurance coverage in this one is also for 30 days and the amount for hospitalization will be Rs 25,000 and for death, it is Rs 1,00,000.

Airtel Rs 999 plan: This plan comes with 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and 84 days validity. The insurance value in this plan is also the same but yes the validity of the insurance is 90 days.
