Aldi is selling a range of new beauty and skincare products

Aldi is launching a new skincare device that's set to rival high end versions - and it's much cheaper too. The bargain retailer is well known for it's health and beauty products, often selling budget alternatives to some of the most popular brands on the market.

Now, Aldi might be getting ready to rival brands such as Shark, Foreo, Silk'n and more with its upcoming beauty device, the LED Face Mask. Coming in at £12.99, the mask is massively cheaper than other alternatives on the market.

According to Aldi, the LED Face Mask is "perfectly designed to give you an easy LED light facial treatment in the comfort of your own home." It added: "With up to seven different coloured lights to treat your skin, you'll be able to pamper yourself without needing to visit the salon."

The product features seven different coloured lights - red, green, blue, purple, cyan, orange, and light purple - with a built-in Lithium Battery and a button to select the LED light mode. LED light therapy has been shown to have numerous benefits for the skin, including reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles Improving skin texture and tone, reducing inflammation and redness, and killing acne-causing bacteria.

The Aldi mask is similar to a number of similar products on the market, such as the Silk'n Facial LED Mask for £120 from Boots, the STYLPRO Wavelength LED Face Mask for £100 at Argos. Shark also has the CryoGlow Under-Eye Cooling & LED Anti-Ageing & Blemish Repair Mask FW312UK available online for £269.99, which means shoppers could save hundreds of pounds by opting for Aldi's much cheaper alternative.

The retailer is also stocking a number of other LED skincare products including the LED eye device and LED neck device, both £12.99 each. The range is expected into Aldi stores on Sunday, December 8.
