After shooting a woman and narrowly avoiding a charge of involuntary manslaughter, it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear Alec Baldwin’s upcoming reality show described as not very fun. He and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, are gearing up for the launch of their TLC reality show, but in a recent interview, Alec made it sound like a boring experience. Hilaria on the other hand? She couldn’t be more thrilled.
Alec Baldwin isn’t sold on reality TV
Alec and Hilaria’s new show, The Baldwins, is set to follow their unique life at home with their seven kids. On the surface, that doesn’t sound very riveting. No one asked for that. Now, Alex just made matters worse in a recent interview with the Associated Press. A reporter asked him for some thoughts on his new reality TV show. In response, he shared that he much preferred acting over reality TV.
“I wasn’t very fun,” Alec told the reporter. “Tell me what to do!”
Meanwhile, an insider close to Hilaria told People that she’s extremely excited about bringing the reality TV cameras into their home. They teased that their family life with all of the kids is “chaotic,” but Hilaria hopes to inspire moms by showing how she balances it all while still making time for herself.
“She can’t wait to share more about her family life,” the insider explained. “She knows she lives a privileged life, but she still has to juggle and prioritize like many moms.”
The insider, which is probably just Hilaria calling reporters from a burner phone, disputed Alec’s claim about not being “fun” during the show. They reassured the outlet that Alex and Hilaria are “fun together” and “watching them together as a team will be a treat.” We’ll believe it when we see it.
There’s no official premiere date confirmed for The Baldwins, but Alec suggested that it might come out in January 2025. Stay tuned for updates.
