STEVEN Gerrard's daughter Lilly delighted fans after announcing she is pregnant with her first child yesterday.

Influencer Lilly, 20, shared the news on Instagram, posting a snap of a pregnancy journal, as well as two positive pregnancy tests, scan snaps and baby shoes.

She wrote: "Our little secret, the best news, mini us is on the way."

Lilly's baby joy may have come as a surprise to many, but for those who closely followed her social media, the clues were there all along.

From clever clothing choices to a noticeable social media absence, here’s how Lilly managed to keep her baby joy under wraps until now.

Instagram silence

Lilly, who typically keeps her Instagram followers updated with snapshots of her life, left fans puzzled when she went unusually quiet for months.

Known for sharing glamorous outfits, holiday snaps, and family moments, her last post was dated October 26, 2024 - a photo dump from a friend's birthday party.

Clever angles and baggy hoodies

While Lilly stayed relatively quiet on Instagram, her occasional appearances on TikTok gave fans subtle hints.

Eagle-eyed followers noted that she had switched to filming from clever angles, often keeping the camera focused on her face or using props to obscure her midsection.

Baggy hoodies and oversized clothing became a staple in her videos, sparking further speculation.

Comment about her dog

One clue that particularly caught the attention of fans was Lilly’s comment referring to her dog as her "first born".

Alongside a video herself dancing in her room to Real Love Baby by Father John Misty, she simply wrote: "My first born."

For many looking back, this was a sweet but telling hint that she was preparing for the arrival of her second “baby".

Family support

The Gerrard family has always been known for their close-knit bond and private approach to personal matters.

It’s no surprise that Lilly’s parents, Steven and Alex, along with her siblings Lexie, 18, Lourdes, 13, and Lio, eight, would have supported her in keeping the pregnancy news quiet until she was ready to share it.

The baby's dad is Lee Byrne, who Lily has been seeing since April 2022.

Steven was quick to comment beneath her Instagram announcement, saying "we can't wait."

Proud dad-of-four Steve, now managing Saudi side Al-Ettifaq, added: "Great news and congratulations, we love you."

Lily's mum Alex Gerrard added: “Can’t wait.”

The Sun on Sunday revealed in 2022 that influencer Lilly had started dating Lee in around April of that year.

They were first linked when they enjoyed a holiday to Ibiza together and posted snaps kissing.

Lee moved into a gated community in Freshfield, one of Merseyside's more exclusive addresses, which is how he got to know Lilly.

The Byrne and Gerrard families are said to grown close since the young couple began dating.

Lee has describing WAG Alex as his second mum.

Lilly was born in February 2004 and regularly posts pictures of her jetset lifestyle on social media.

Steven will have turned 45 when his grandchild arrives.

Lilly is also yet to disclose the gender of her unborn child.
