Ally McCoist has revealed the reality series he couldn't turn down after he rejected an offer to appear on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The Rangers legend was in advanced talks to head into the Australian jungle this month for the ITV series but pulled out at the last minute.
However, he said he would love to be asked to take part in Channel 4 show Celebrity Hunted. The former Ibrox player and manager is a huge fan of the programme where contestants attempt to evade capture for 14 days as some of the world's best investigators try to track them down.
Hunters on the show include former senior police chiefs and military intelligence officers. They are given access to the contestants' personal information and can use CCTV and call tracing to locate them.
Speaking on Talksport, McCoist, 62, said: "Celebrity Hunted is when they drop you off somewhere and then you're off and running and they try and track you.
"I would love that. I would be right up for it. I can't tell people my strategy on air but I think I would be alright."
McCoist also joked about turning down I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and said his decision might have been different if he had known about the size of Coleen Rooney's reported £1.5million fee in advance.

He said: "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! returns this coming Sunday on ITV. It will be brilliant this year. It could have been better but it will be brilliant this year.
"Coleen Rooney is the headline recruit. She will become the show's highest paid star of all time. What? I never knew that right enough."
McCoist, who has now turned down three approaches to appear on the show, said he will instead be watching it at home with his family.
