Britain's Got Talent legend Amanda made the bold promise to her husband after she suffered a hilarious fall at her first ever Christmas party whilst at the radio station
Amanda Holden has promised her husband she "won't get battered" at her work Christmas party.
The Britain's Got Talent star, 53, has ben getting into the festive spirit as she got all dolled up in a sizzling Santa costume for Heart Radio listeners earlier this month. But while Amanda may be looking gorgeous, her husband - whom she recently blasted after being called "difficult" - is hoping she is more cautious this year.
In a conversation with good pal and radio co-host Jason King, also known as JK, Amanda said she had a serious chat with hubby Chris Hughes about her upcoming Christmas party. She revealed that she was made to promise that she would not get too crazy after a hilarious cock-up at her first event.

Speaking on their show Amanda recalled: "I remember, I think after our first year – well, my first year at Heart – we went for a Christmas party. We went for drinks, and I fell down the last three steps of the restaurant."
Amanda revealed that in the mortifying fall, she had landed on her knees, which luckily caused her to not be injured too badly. However, she also saw this as an opportunity to cover herself, and pretend as if nothing had happened.
"I just put the prayer sign up and said to the waiter, ‘Thank you! Thank you so much for a lovely evening!’ and walked out like nothing had happened," she joked. "That is how you style it."
A stunned JK was unable to comprehend the hilarious moment as Amanda recounted the story. "Is that what actually happened?" he asked, to which she responded: "That's it, yeah."
JK then asked about the station's upcoming Christmas party in the coming weeks and joked: "And this is what I've got in store?" However, Amanda was quick to explain that her messy days of falling over whilst drunk were firmly behind her.
"This is what you’ve got," she said, "but I’ve promised my husband I won't. He went, ‘Don’t get too battered, Mandy,’ and I was like, ‘I’ll do my best!'"
It comes as former Wild at Heart star Amanda shared a glimpse inside her luxurious new home after she decked her house out to get ready for the festive season. Going all out for the big day, Amanda left fans stunned as she brought in a giant Christmas tree with some lavish decorations.
Her tree, which takes up a huge space in the star's hallway, was filled with presents underneath as it was adorned with huge baubles in black and white, whilst cream lights were strung up and down its branches. She also got creative for her decorations as she gently placed a glitzy wreath on the front door of her property to welcome in guests.
Amanda's home has had a full blown make-over as she settles into the Christmas period with husband Chris Hughes. The pair have been loved up since they tied the knot back in 2008, welcoming two daughters - Lexi and Hollie - into the world since.
