Amazon’s brand-new Echo Spot Smart Alarm Clock has been officially launched. The Alexa-enabled gadget has new alarm sounds, customised clock faces, and small, vivid screens. Clear vocals and rich bass are provided by the front-firing speaker.

Amazon Echo Spot has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 8,999 but will be available for purchase at an introductory limited period offer of Rs 6,499. The smart clock will be available in two colour options: Black and Blue. The device can be purchased via Amazon.in, Blinkit, and online and offline stores of Croma in the country.

In India, Amazon unveiled the Echo Spot, a smart alarm clock featuring four new alarm sounds, colourful display options, and custom-designed faces. Users may set and see alarms, view the time, weather, or song titles, and enjoy vivid sound through the directional speaker on the small, customisable display. Customers may quickly check the time on the screen while they’re asleep thanks to the night mode feature.

Customers can mix and match colours with clock faces or select from six colour themes to personalise the 2.83-inch touch-screen display to match the aesthetic of their bedroom.
With Alexa integration, the Amazon smart clock responds to several queries for weather updates, trivia, recipes, and general information every millisecond. It also helps with timers, lists, alarms, and reminders. For simple access to answers, Echo Spot provides eight specially created clock faces, eye-catching animations, and vibrant colours.
Customers may now set personalised alarms with Alexa, including four new alarm sounds: Aurora, Daybreak, Endeavour, and Flutter, or a weekday alarm with religious music. Users may nap by tapping Echo Spot or asking Alexa to help them sleep better. Additionally, Alexa can display weather data on the screen, including temperature and graphics.
The Echo Spot is a smart speaker with a 1.73-inch front-firing speaker that produces rich sound. Numerous streaming services are supported, including JioSaavn, Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Additionally, the speaker has a vibrant display with song titles, and users can simply change the level by asking Alexa or using buttons on top. A subscription might be necessary.
With just a voice command, everyday tasks can be automated by setting up Alexa Routines on the Echo Spot, which can be connected to smart home devices. For example, users can set up their smart lights to gradually illuminate and play music as they wake up, or they can program their lights to darken at a specific time, switch on their TV, and play a movie or TV show. Using the Alexa app, users can establish a custom or preset routine. When you enter a room, Echo Spot can use Ultrasound Motion Detection to set up smart home routines that will play music or turn on lights.

Customers can use Echo Spot to make audio calls, make announcements all over the house, or audibly Drop In on other devices using Alexa. A microphone on/off button and the option to see and remove voice recordings are only two of its many privacy settings.
