“It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so we do not want to go into much detail at this stage,” the representative said.
“Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
Oonagh Paige, 3, was born on April 8, 2021. The actress announced Oonagh’s arrival three months after her birth, saying she had decided to embark on her motherhood journey independently.
“I wanted to have a child on my own terms,” Heard wrote on Instagram at the time, calling her decision “radical” and expressing hope that women could one day normalise being mothers without being impacted by societal expectations.
Over the past few years, Heard has shared glimpses of life with Oonagh on social media.
She has referred to herself as both “the mum and the dad” and a “multitasking mama” in heartfelt posts.
The actress has been leading a quieter life in Madrid, Spain, since her highly publicised defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp concluded in 2022.
Following the trial, Heard expressed her desire to focus on her family.
“I get to be a full-time mum, where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers,” she told NBC News in June 2022.
Her move to Spain was reportedly motivated by a wish to raise Oonagh away from Hollywood.
“Amber never liked the energy of Los Angeles,” an insider told US Weekly in May 2024.
“She feels safe and secure in Madrid and surrounded by better people.”
Despite stepping back from the spotlight, Heard has been pursuing various creative projects.
In June, she attended the Taormina Film Festival in Italy to promote her movie In the Fire. She also made a brief appearance in Aquaman 2, released in December 2023.
Heard has balanced her career with modelling and other ventures while embracing her role as a mother.
The actress’ personal life has often been a topic of public fascination, especially during and after her contentious legal battle with Depp.
The pair were married from 2015 to 2017 and engaged in a defamation case stemming from a 2018 op-ed by Heard in which she claimed to be a victim of domestic violence in an opinion piece published in The Washington Post in 2018.
The high-profile trial ended with the jury largely siding with Depp, awarding him $10 million in damages while granting Heard $2 million in a countersuit.
The legal saga officially concluded in December 2022 when the former couple reached a settlement.
At the time, Heard said her decision to settle was “a very difficult” one.
“I defended my truth, and in doing so, my life as I knew it was destroyed,” she said on Instagram at the time.
She also spoke out against the “vilification” she faced on social media, calling it an amplified version of how women are often “re-victimised” after coming forward.
In her statement, Heard framed the settlement as a last resort, characterising it as “an opportunity to emancipate myself from something I attempted to leave over six years ago and on terms I can agree to”.
“I have made no admission. This is not an act of concession. There are no restrictions or gags with respect to my voice moving forward,” she added.
