Angie Katsanevas threw shade at Meredith Marks for renting before stating she hopes to develop a closer friendship with the OG Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member.

In an interview with etalk, Angie gave an update regarding her ongoing feud with Meredith.

Angie knows she’s that girl:

“I am Salt Lake City; I own twelve businesses.” Angie continued, “I’m rooted in the Salt Lake community [and] in the Greek community. I don’t ever want to be overly confident, but I’m standing in the center. So, who’s the backup dancer now?”

Meredith trying to “ice me out” confused Angie. “I think [Meredith] had a hard time with me coming on the show. I didn’t understand that knowing she’s not from there.” Also, Meredith is “renting there when we film, and then she’s gone.”

“I really want to have peace with Meredith, I loved that moment for us. I don’t know how we got to where we are today. Sometimes I sit back and say, ‘Why are we fighting?’ It’s ridiculous.”

“We are in a better place.” There was a lot to “hash out at the reunion,” but Angie hopes their friendship continues to grow. “I will say, we’ll probably find something else to fight about. I’d love to have a friendship with [Meredith] in the future.”

The center snowflake:

Angie admitted she cried when she learned she was holding the center snowflake during the show’s season 5 opening sequence. In an interview with ET, the RHOSLC star is proud to be positioned in the middle while not acting villainous.

The friend of turned Main Character recalled a conversation she had recently with her friend/co-star, Mary Cosby. “Can you believe that you got center snowflake? And, you were having so much fun.”

“I cried,” Angie admitted, “When I found out I got the center position in the cast photo.” She continued, “I went though a lot. People felt like people wanted to put me through the ringer. Try and ice me out, try to take me down.”

“It reminded me that the cream rises to the top. Just be your authentic self and having fun can actually be a great thing. I don’t need to be a villain or a bad person to stand in the center and represent Salt Lake City.”
