Angie Katsanevas’ Husband Shawn Accuses Lisa of “Borderline Abusive” Behavior Over Her Treatment of Angie in RHOSLC Preview

Much has been said about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season five. Angie Katsanevas and Lisa Barlow are at the center of the drama, despite Lisa not being the target of the infamous scroll from the premiere episode. Now, a new preview clip shows Angie’s husband, Shawn Trujillo, calling Lisa out for the way she treats his wife.

Angie and Lisa have a number of issues that caused their fallout. Notably, part of the issue is over Angie’s friendship with Whitney Rose. 

Recently, the Instagram account RHONJ Obsessed posted a preview clip from RHOSLC. In it, things get pretty heated at a dinner scene where the husbands are present. 

When the video begins, Shawn can be heard saying to Angie, “Didn’t she tell someone they were a f****** bi***, though?”

Angie responds, “Yeah, she told me I was.”

The scene then cuts to a flashback of Lisa saying those exact words to Angie in a heated argument. 

This is when Shawn confronts Lisa. He says, “It’s borderline abusive, and I’ve been privy to conversations between the two of you and really taken back by some of the abuse that my wife has taken on the other end of those phone calls.”

Of course, Lisa is in disbelief. The clip then cuts to Lisa in a confessional, where she says, “I’m not abusive to her. Why is her husband talking to me? He’s lucky I can see him over the table.”

The conversation picks up again with Shawn saying, “You know, I’m on the other end of that thinking to myself like, ‘Why the f*** do you let anybody treat you like that?'”

Lisa responds, “I have a different way of speaking, and if, you guys clearly don’t understand me.” She then says to Angie, “If I have hurt you, I’m sorry.”

In true Housewives’ fashion, this probably won’t end their issues. Fans can watch new episodes of RHOSLC on Wednesday nights and stream them the next day on Peacock.
