Apple has finally revealed iOS 18.2 Developer Beta 3 for iPhone. With the release of the latest beta update, the company has unveiled several interesting features, including sharing Air Tag location with others, ChatGPT integration, and more. The Share Item Location will now allow users to locate and recover misplaced items easily. The feature lets users to share the location of their AirTag or Find My with third parties.
Air Tag Location:
Users will now be able to Share item Location link in the Find My option on their iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Then you can share that link with anyone. The person who is receiving the link can will click it and pull up a map that will start showing the location of the missing item.
As per Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, “Find My is an essential tool for users around the world to keep track of and find their belongings. The Find My network and AirTag have proven to be a powerful combination for users while traveling, providing invaluable location information when bags have been misplaced or mishandled.”

The tech giant is also planning to take a step ahead with providing this facility to some of the prominent airline services across worldwide, including Aer Lingus, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and more. The feature will now help airlines to locate mishandled or delayed bags.
However, access to Share Item Location link will be limited to few people and recipients will be required to authenticate in order to access it either from their Apple Account or partner email address.
