Amy Luciani and Dwight Howard will likely be jumping the broom soon, as the couple have flaunted what appear to be two massive engagement rings while out and about this week. Rumors of an engagement initially spread thanks to Luciani’s fellow Love & Hip Hop star, Scrappy, sharing a clip of the pair slow dancing, indicating with his caption that they had “tied the niznyee,” a.k.a. tied the knot.
In a video shared of the same night, Luciani and Howard show off their rings with massive smiles on their faces. Luciani’s caption thanked the former NBA baller and expressed excitement for their shared future, all but confirming their engagement, though it is never addressed outright.
“I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are. Thank you for bringing me back to the word. Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is ‘Did you pray about it?’ Then I realized I hadn’t [been] praying much lately at all. I’m just thankful, happy and ready for everything that’s coming our way. I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattood giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.”
Days before, the couple attended the Atlanta screening of DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA alongside stars Gerard Butler, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Christian Gudegast. Luciani was also by his side at the CELSIUS Padel Classic 2024 on Dec. 6 in Miami.
The night out for the couple comes four months after Howard’s sexual assault lawsuit was dismissed, as the athlete was previously accused of forcing a man into a threesome in 2021.
