Singer-actress Ariana Grande turned heads at the 2025 SAG Awards in a pink floral dress that was made of feathers, but the feathers were not immediately apparent.
According to People Magazine, former “Voice” coach Grande’s custom gown by Loewe featured “a floral bodice, and each flower was crafted out of feathers making for an optical illusion all down the dress.”
Grande was one of multiple impeccably dressed stars at the awards ceremony on February 23.
A Video Showed the Feathers Being Painstakingly Sewn Into Flowers
GettyAriana GrandeTown and Country shared a video on Instagram that showed how Grande’s dress was made. The magazine referred to the look as “Glinda inspired,” a reference to Grande’s portrayal of the witch in the movie “Wicked.”
According to Town and Country, “The sweeping sheer silk crépon bustier gown, designed by Jonathan Anderson, features delicate feather floral embroidery on the corset and skirt.”
The video showed the feather-created flowers being hand-sewn. Town and Country noted that Grande has favored the color pink during the awards season for “Wicked,” a nod to Glinda’s color palate.

According to Footwear News, Erivo paired the gown with “a pair of custom Christian Louboutin Hot Chick metallic silver pumps.

Meanwhile, Grande chose “creamy-white pointed-toe pumps and diamond Jared Atelier jewelry, including a floral ring on her pointer finger, tiny drop earrings, and a luxe choker necklace,” according to InStyle.
Grande’s Instagram page also contains a photo showing her with Erivo. The Instagram page contains many photos that show Grande focusing on pink gowns while promoting her movie with Erivo.
