2 weeks ago 2

Barry Keoghan is “incredibly blessed” amid his romance with Sabrina Carpenter.

In a November 2024 interview with Louis Theroux, the 32-year-old Irish actor was asked directly about his relationship with the 25-year-old pop star princess.

ICYMI, the pair first sparked romance rumors in late 2023, and made the ultimate hard-launch after Barry starred in Sabrina’s music video for “Please Please Please” in May 2024. However, they’ve been plagued by split speculation since early August after celebrity gossip site Deux Moi posted an anonymous tip on its account.

However, the actor had nothing but kind words to say about the “Espresso” singer.

Louis, straight to the point, directly asked the actor: “Are you in a relationship with Sabrina Carpenter?” Which Barry jokingly responded: “Oh, I knew you’d do this. Listen, all I’m going to say is I’m incredibly blessed.”

The Saltburn actor then called Sabrina “such a strong, independent lady who’s massively talented and very special.”

Last month, Barry was spotted supporting Sabrina at several concerts amid speculation the pair had split. The songstress even gave her rumored beau a flirty shout-out while singing “Juno” during her Raleigh concert on Oct. 19. Fans filmed her singing, “I hear you knocking, Barry, come on up.” The original line is “I hear you knocking, baby, come on up.”

Barry’s comments aren’t the first time they’ve been asked about each other. In a recent interview with *The Guardian*, Sabrina praised the Irish actor, reflecting on their video collaboration.

“One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’m very honored, and I got to work with such a great actor!” she said. She reiterated similar thoughts in an August 6 Variety interview: “I don’t want to sound biased, but I think he’s one of the best actors of this generation.”

The songstress further complimented her beau a few months later on CBS Sunday Morning while reflecting on her decision to cast him as her love interest in her “Please Please Please” music video.

“I, genuinely — like, a not-even-biased opinion — I was like, ‘Who’s the greatest actor that I can find for this music video?’” she said. “And he was next to me in a chair. And he was so excited about it!”

“He likes the song, which is great,” she said of the hit, noting that Barry “does like [her] music a lot.”
