Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia’s friendship with Grace O’Malley is A-OK.
The “Plan Bri Uncut” podcast co-hosts and longtime BFFs shut down rumors that they are feuding after TikTok users noticed LaPaglia failed to publicly wish O’Malley a happy birthday.
“I haven’t had TikTok in months. But apparently all anyone does on there is talk about my life,” LaPaglia wrote on her Instagram Story Wednesday — despite posting on the video-sharing app as recently as Oct. 8.
LaPaglia, who recently went through a breakup with country singer Zach Bryan, told her followers she is “not interested in sharing [her] personal relationships online anymore because the internet wants so badly to ruin them all.”
However, with all the chatter surrounding her friendship with O’Malley, LaPaglia felt the need to clear the air.
“Grace has been like a sister since I was 15 years old,” she wrote. “I wished her a happy birthday privately.”

LaPaglia, 25, reminded fans that she is “having a week from hell” on the heels of her split from Bryan, so she did not think to post a birthday message on social media Sunday when O’Malley turned 26.
“That’s all there is to it,” she concluded her post.
O’Malley also took to her Instagram Story Wednesday to respond to the gossip about the pair.
“This last year & however many has been quite the whirlwind for Brianna and I’s friendship,” she captioned a photo of herself pointing a toy gun at Bryan.
“Yes. There’s no denying that. But, I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t at least ask nicely for you guys to please give her the space and time that she needs to move on and heal.”
This is the second time in five months that LaPaglia and O’Malley have been forced to shut down rumors of a rift between them.
After LaPaglia said in May that she was thinking of launching a solo podcast, some listeners assumed she was ditching her friend.
O’Malley subsequently admitted on “Plan Bri Uncut” that the duo had not been “seeing eye to eye” but called out internet trolls for trying to “pin [them] against each other.”
LaPaglia, for her part, insisted on her other Barstool podcast, “BFFs,” that she and O’Malley will be “best friends forever.”
