Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu were eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday, but fans were outraged at this result of the dreaded dance off.
Strictly Come Dancing fans noticed Nancy Xu's angry expression as they vented their frustration at Shirley Ballas and accused the BBC of a 'fix'.
Shayne Ward and Nancy were sadly eliminated from the competition on Sunday after facing the dreaded dance-off against Katya Jones and Wynne Evans.
Both couples repeated their routines, with Shayne and Nancy dancing their Rumba to Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time, followed by Wynne and Katya performing their American Smooth to Mika's Grace Kelly.
The judges were then deadlocked, with Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse opting to save Shayne and Nancy, while Anton Du Beke chose to save Wynne and Katya.
As head judge, Shirley holds the deciding vote, and she shocked fans by choosing to save Wynne and Katya.
Shayne and Nancy have landed in the bottom two three times during the show, and the Rumba is often considered one of the toughest dances to master, with many celebrities struggling to impress the judges with it, reports the Mirror.
Although former Coronation Street star Shayne was one of the bookies’ favourites to leave the show last weekend, the pair were still heartbroken to be going home. Many viewers noticed Nancy’s furious face as she spoke to Tess Daly following the result.
One fan tweeted: “Nancy gives a stare that the majority of people watching Strictly Come Dancing gave all at the same time when seeing the judges scores,”
As another agreed: “I’m obsessed with angry Nancy staring the abysmal Shirley and Anton down. Yes, Shayne had been in the dance-off 3 times out of 7, but it should be about saving the best dancers. There was no contest between him and Wynne #strictly.”
“Yes, go on Nancy, stare that biased odd scoring lady down. Wrong decision indeed,” one fuming fan wrote, as they took aim at Shirley’s position as head judge. “Nancy is raging and I don’t blame her,” another responded.
With one fan adding: “I'm not the biggest Shane fan, but it seemed fairly obvious he was the better dancer!”
Some suggested it was time for a major shake-up of the judging panel, with one viewer proposing Motsi as a potential head judge.
"They need to give head judge to Motsi. Craig often scores too harshly whereas both Anton and Shirley are too led by their feels, and often dole out erratically high scores (Shirley especially when she fancies the contestant). Motsi is the most consistent and stable judge," one fan stated.

"Shirley getting casting vote is a joke ..if it’s 2-2 should come down to audience vote," another agreed, with one frustrated fan adding: "Or go with who actually got the least public votes - like they used to in old X factor."
Meanwhile, another suggested: "Or have a different Head Judge each week."
