Below Deck Mediterranean yachties Joe Bradley and Bri Muller had an apparent meet-up in Miami last week. They stirred up some Internet curiosity when Joe posted photos of their Florida reunion.
The pair posted pics of attending an immersive art installation, an open-air gym, and the famous Villa Hotel and restaurant. Does this mean they’ve rekindled their romance?
Not so fast, Interverse. “Strictly business- for anyone who wants to know,” Bri explained in an Instagram Story showing her and Joe posing in front of a mirror.
Welcome to Miami, Joe Bradley and Bri Muller!
Bri later returned to Instagram and posted more photos of their reunion, though she never really got specific about the kind of “business” they were up to. Monkey business, maybe?
Thankfully, Joe took to the comments section and provided a bit more explanation. “The chances of working together are very slim,” he wrote, “but here we areee [sic].”
When a commenter cut to the chase and asked if the former co-workers were “back together,” Joe made it clear that even though they’re on good terms, their friendship is merely platonic.
“We’re working together on the same boat,” the Liverpool native replied.
Bri explains that restroom “hookup” in Greece
On Below Deck Med Season 9, the deckhand and the laundry-challenged stew worked together on the Mustique. They became increasingly flirtatious throughout the charter season and wound up in something of a love triangle with the second stewardess, Elena “Ellie” Dubaich. The couple shared a few clandestine kisses, including an audio-only restroom encounter, which Bri explained on an episode of Bravo’s Below Deck Mediterranean After Show.
“I went to the bathroom, and then Joe happened to be the one standing outside when I opened the door,” Bri recalled. “I low-key didn’t want the cameras to see us, so I was like ‘Come, come, come,’ thinking that the cameras weren’t there, but they’re f*cking everywhere all the time … We were talking sh*t. You know when you look deeply [into] someone’s eyes? I feel like that moment just happened with us.”
Both Joe and Bri insist nothing really happened in that restroom, with Joe saying he was simply “drawn in.” Though they definitely had chemistry together, in the end, they decided they were better off as friends.
But now that they’re working on the same boat again, who knows what will happen? Especially following an alcohol-fueled crew night out.
Below Deck Mediterranean is streaming on Peacock.
