Beyoncé performed yesterday for the NFLs Christmas Day game, and she sent shockwaves across the world by shifting her giant diamond wedding ring, from her left to her right hand.

Her husband Jay Z is in the midst of a very bitter public legal battle with Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee, who is representing a woman claiming that Jay assaulted her 25 years ago.

Jay Z has denied the claims, and offered proof suggesting his innocence. But his public image has taken a battering, and the entire world is wondering whether his marriage to Beyoncé could survive this.

At first, it appeared that Beyoncé was standing arm in arm, in solidarity with her husband. Two days after Buzbee filed the infamous lawsuit, Beyoncé appeared publicly with Jay Z, proudly wearing her 20 carat wedding ring on her left hand.

But people are now wondering whether Beyoncé is still as solid in her marriage after yesterday’s Halftime performance.

And she sent tongue’s wagging, by shifting her wedding ring from her left to her right hand.

It could be a meaningless gesture, or it could mean a lot. In some cultures, women shift their wedding ring from left to right hand to signify the end of a marriage.

Beyoncé’s halftime show during the Texas-Ravens games was also her first performance since husband Jay-Z was accused of assault.

The show also marked the first time Beyoncé performed songs from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, live – and Beyonce didn’t disappoint.

Beyoncé’s performance was legendary, and it culminated with an appearance by her 12 year old daughter Blue – who gave a great performance also.

Blue coordinated with Beyoncé in all-white western wear as she served back-up dancer duties for the climactic, closing number – Texas Hold ‘Em.

Knowles-Carter gave Blue a discreet shout out mid-song when she changed the word ‘boy’ to ‘Blue’ in the lyric: ‘Then spin me in the middle, Blue, I can’t read your mind.’

Indeed, after the 32-time Grammy winner and Blue two-stepped and line-danced with the rest of the group they interlocked arms for a do-si-do, square-dance moment.

The two-time Guinness World Record holder might only be 12 but she’s already garnered a Grammy Award, an MTV Moon Man, NAACP Image Award, Voice Arts Award, and two BET Awards
