Britain's Got Talent alumni George Sampson won the ITV show at the tender age of 14.
So it's no surprise that many people are still surprised when they realise that the dancer is all grown up now.
George Sampson, from Warrington is one of the original BGT stars, having won the show way back in 2008 during the second series.
He applied for the TV talent contest a year before he won it in 2007 after is dance teacher Dominic Chambers told him that there were auditions in the area. George only discovered he'd be auditioning for BGT when he arrived.
In his audition, he danced to 'Drop' by Timbaland, featuring Magoo & Fatman Scoop and received a yes from all three judges. However, despite Simon Cowell being a fan, he was unable to convince the other two judges, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan, to let Sampson proceed to the live semi-finals.
This made George determined to re-audition the following year and prove Amanda and Piers wrong. In the lead-up to auditioning again, continued dancing on the streets of Manchester to improve his technique, and to raise money for his family.
He again auditioned in 2008 and successfully got through the first round of the auditions by dancing to 'Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)'. He then came top in the audience's vote in his semi-final with his performance to Mint Royale's big beat remix of 'Singin' in the Rain', which came complete with an artificial rain machine on-stage.
During the final he managed to beat dance duo Signature and Andrew Johnston to take the crown. Sampson was due to perform a different routine for the final, to a track by the Bee Gees, however, an hour before the final started he changed his mind and, after consulting Simon Cowell, opted to re-perform his winning act from the semi-final.
After his win, The Mint Royale version of 'Singin' in the Rain' went to number 1 in the UK on download sales alone and Cowell's label Syco had several requests for a video.
Since the show, Samson has appeared on the West End, and worked in TV show Follow My Lead with Cowell's record company and Bebo. He also released music and has had his own dance DVD.
As well as this, he's been Patron of Dance Aid organised by the UK registered charity Hope and Homes for Children since 2009 shortly before ending his professional relationship with Cowell.
Since then, he's appeared in British 3D feature film StreetDance 3D, appeared on Star King, a South Korean television show and appeared on the fourth series of Celebrity Coach Trip alongside Roxanne Pallett.
Sampson also returned to Britain's Got Talent as a contestant in Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019 and participated in the fourth semi final but did not receive enough votes to progress to the final.
His acting career also includes BBC drama series Waterloo Road, and TV shows Mount Pleasant, Casualty and Emmerdale.
As well as all this, he boasts 68,000 Instagram followers on social media, with him regularly updating fans about his latest projects. One of his birthday posts saw Georgie reveal his age as fans were left shocked. The star was 30 as the time, however is now 31-years-old.
While on a trip to New York in the US, George wrote: "Just a 30-year-old man in Central Park."
One person exclaimed: "Remember watching ya on BGT the first and second time you were on it! Wow time flies!" While another said he "still barely looks 20".
