The couple posed for photos on the red carpet before the awards show kicked off on Sunday, February 2, at Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles. Bianca initially arrived to the red carpet in a long black fur jacket, though revealed her dress once she and Ye were already on the red carpet.
Shortly after Bianca and Ye posed for their photos, several fans rushed to social media to share their thoughts on her bold outfit. “Literally have no words on this like tf was he thinking,” one person wrote via X. Another added, “This is cringe af !!!”
Bianca and Ye were attending the awards show amid his nomination in the Best Rap Song category for his track “Carnival.” He has previously won 24 Grammys through the course of his career, while he’s been nominated 76 times.
The awards show took place just hours after it was revealed that Ye only follows Taylor Swift on Instagram. Ye and Taylor, 35, have a complicated history, which dates back to Ye interrupting her acceptance speech during the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.
While they seemed to work through their issues, Ye and Taylor resumed their feud in 2016 when he released the song “Famous.” The controversial track includes the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous.”
