Billy Ray Cyrus' son Braison has spoken out following claims his brother has been threatened with legal action from his own father.
Trace Cyrus posted an open letter to his dad recently, where he said he "barely recognises" his father. Trace was adopted by Billy Ray and is the son of Billy's ex wife Tish Cyrus and her ex Bexter Neal Helson.
Writing recently, Trace shared: "Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life.
"Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems thisworldhas beaten you down and it's become obvious to everyone but you. You may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point. Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you've pushed all of us away."
He added: "Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven't even been there for her. That's your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me she still idolizes you though."

I could have been extremely honest about a lot more but I don't want to put your business out there like that. But for you to threaten me with legal action for wanting you to get help is a disgrace."
Later, Billy Ray's other son Braison was asked about his family's alleged 'feud', when he insisted all was OK between him and his family, and told People magazine: "I don't have any bad feelings toward anyone in my family."
The singer initially sparked concern from fans over his "trainwreck" performance at Donald Trump's inauguration. His performance was plagued by technical difficulties and he ended up performing Old Town Road without proper equipment. He could be heard saying: "Is my guitar still on? I think they cut me off. I don't hear my guitar anymore." Frustrated by the ongoing problems, he told the audience: "Y'all want me to sing more or you just want me to get the hell off the stage? I don't give a damn
Billy Ray Cyrus adopted both Trace and Brandi, who his ex Tish had with her previous partner. The pair then went on to have three kids - Miley, Braison and Noah - whilst Billy Ray also has a son called Christopher from a past relationship.
