Ben Affleck puffs on a cigarette as he attends school play with ex Jennifer Garner and Seraphina

Ben Affleck appeared stoic while smoking a cigarette Saturday.

The “Gone Girl” star and ex-wife Jennifer Garner were attending their 16-year-old child, Seraphina’s, school play in Santa Monica, Calif., when he was seen outside taking a puff.

Affleck, 52, was not pictured alongside Garner, 52, and Seraphina as the trio appeared to leave the venue separately.

The “Gone Girl” actor was not pictured with his first wife and their teenager. He took the smoke break solo on Saturday. BACKGRID

While supporting his teenager over the weekend, Affleck opted for a casual outfit with a beige button up, a windbreaker and dark pants. BACKGRID

For the night out, Affleck wore a beige button up shirt and a white windbreaker jacket.

He added black jeans to tie the casual look together and styled it with white sneakers and a black baseball cap.

Garner — who was married to Affleck from 2005 to 2018 — also opted for casual attire with a black zip-up jacket, jeans and black optical eyewear.

Their teenager kept close to the “13 Going on 30” actress while heading back to their car. Like mom, Seraphina also modeled black optical glasses.

Seraphina wore a white sweater with a black collared shirt underneath and black trousers.

Garner and Affleck’s child was also seen carrying a black tote bag and a smaller black bucket bag after the event.

It’s unknown if Seraphina’s sister Violet, 19, and brother Samuel, 12, were in attendance as they were not pictured leaving the play.

This isn’t the first time that Affleck attended a school play for his kids alongside Garner, as the two were previously photographed at Seraphina’s play in December 2024.

Not only was Garner in attendance, but Affleck’s estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez, was also present during the family gathering.

The “Selena” actress attended the play to also show her support for her and Marc Anthony’s child Emme, 16.

Affleck and Lopez, 55, tied the knot in July 2022; however, she then filed for divorce in August 2024.

The “On The Floor” hitmaker and her soon-to-be-ex-husband did not welcome any children together. They blended their families as Lopez shares twins Max and Emme with Anthony.

Lopez and the father of three settled their divorce details earlier this month and their split will be finalized on Feb. 20.
