Disney star, Christina Milian, has defended Blue Ivy after she was accused of dressing 'inappropriately' for the Mufasa premiere.

The daughter of Beyonce and Jay Z, 12, rocked up on the red carpet for the film in which she plays Princess Kiara, sporting a floor-length, strapless gold dress with a train on Monday in Los Angeles. However, some thought the frock was too grown up for the pre-teen, with one person taking to X, saying: "Blue Ivy looks beautiful but honestly I thought 'wow she's like 16 already?' No, turns out she's 12. Let a girl dress like she's 12 please." Meanwhile, another fumed: "Lots of chatter online that Blue Ivy’s dress is inappropriate…which I didn’t get until I read that she is TWELVE YEARS OLD! How about we don’t put a 12-year-old in a push up bra."

However, defending the nepo-baby, Christian Millan, 43, who was a host for Disney Channel's series Movie Surfers as a teenager, said she thought Blue Ivy looked "gorgeous". Speaking on Sherri Shepherd's show, Sherri, on Tuesday, she said: "First of all, she looks gorgeous. I think the fact that anybody has anything to say about someone else's daughter, any minor, I think just mind your business. She's talented, she toured the world with her mom, like there's nothing you can say. You can't dim that shine." Sherri then gushed that Blue acted '"so poised", with Christina agreeing, exclaiming: "Let that baby glow!"

Others on social media agreed with Christina, as one posted: "Y'all need to leave Blue Ivy alone. She's 12. Her dress is beautiful. Worry about the kids being displayed on beauty pageant stages... Like, be so for real."

While another urged: "Please STOP projecting weirdness on to children. It was Blue Ivy’s movie premiere night. She was with her family and bodyguards. She wore a beautiful dress that looked like a modern day princess. She colour-coordinated with her Mom! At age 12 other teens received praise."

Blue Ivy was joined on the red carpet by her mum, Beyonce, grandma, Tina Knowles, and dad, Jay Z. However, sadly, what should have been a happy family outing was marred by the shocking allegations involving the Roc-A-Fella star and P Diddy.

Jay Z has been dragged into Diddy's ongoing legal drama after an unnamed woman claims she was raped by the pair after the 2000 MTV Music Awards.

A civil lawsuit, originally filed in New York's Southern District this past October against Combs, was refiled on Sunday naming the 99 Problems star, as a defendant over an alleged incident at the MTV Awards - that he strongly denies.

Taking to Instagram with an impassioned statement, Jay said: "My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.

"No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!! These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?"
