2025 is already looking up for Brandi Glanville! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared rare bikini photos following her dramatic battle with a facial “parasite.”
Brandi, 52, donned a strapless pink bikini top and matching bottoms tied at the hips in the Thursday, January 23, Instagram post. She posed in front of boats near the Marina del Rey, California, harbor, adding pink heart-shaped sunglasses and UGG boots to her look.
“Having the best time, early weekend staycation with ma bestie,” Brandi wrote in the caption while tagging her talent executive pal James Maas.
Fans celebrated how Brandi was slowly getting back to living life in the spotlight after spending much of 2024 dealing with a facial skin condition that caused her to cut back on public appearances.
“Good to see you back out enjoying life!” one follower wrote, while another cheered, “You’re out and about! So happy for you!” A follower told Brandi, “Looking good Lady! Welcome ‘back.'”
Brandi changed up her hair to a lighter blonde shade and straightened her locks. It caused some fans to do a double take.
“Thought this was Heidi Montag for a second,” one user commented, while another person agreed, writing, “Me too! Both are gorgeous!”
Brandi first disclosed her facial condition when she shared a makeup-free selfie on December 7, 2024, showing the skin on her cheeks appearing puckered and lumpy.
The following day, the reality star explained her medical crisis. “What happened? I wish I knew I’ve been in and out of the hospital this passed [sic] year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out,” Brandi wrote via X. “Some Dr.’s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it’s stress induced edema. I personally say it’s Bravo.”
“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests … I did lab work for $10,000. I ran every test under the sun … They’re like, ‘It could be a parasite.’ That’s, you know, new,” Brandi shared in a December 10 interview with Entertainment Tonight.
The Salinas, California, native said she experienced “swelling” and was “unable to speak.” Brandi explained that some doctors she visited thought her old facial fillers that were still dissolving might have caused her facial problems, but said she already had all of her previous facial fillers dissolved.
Brandi went on to detail how much her appearance affected her lifestyle as well as her finances.
“I’ve been on meds this whole year. I don’t socialize,” the Bravolebrity explained. “I don’t go out and I’m just spending all of my money on trying to figure out what’s wrong with me.”
Brandi said she spent about “$70,000” attempting to fix her facial issues and that she was in a “stressful” financial situation because she had not been able to work in two years due to her health crisis.
Botched star Dr. Terry Dubrow said he believed that a microorganism was likely the cause of Brandi’s flare up and that it needed to be detected. The E! star, 66, said that she needed to get a proper diagnosis, otherwise her facial condition would be more difficult to treat, and she could develop more scars and more nodules in a December 12, 2024, interview with TMZ.
Brandi told fans she and Terry had been in touch and planned to discuss her condition in an X post the following day, saying she appreciated “all the help I can get.”
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum added in a later post how relieved she was to finally be able to discuss her condition publicly, writing, “Something about not holding this in and hiding out any longer has really lifted a weight off. The truth will set you free.”
