Popular podcast host Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has accused her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan of abuse after the two decided to go their separate ways.

“It’s not just for me, it’s for anyone else who’s been emotionally abused, it’s for anyone right now that’s been emotionally abused,” Brianna, 25, told fellow podcast hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards on Thursday, November 7, in a clip for an upcoming episode of the “BFFs” podcast. “It’s for people that don’t have a support system like I was lucky enough to have [while] going through this.”

She continued, “The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life, like, dealing with the abuse from this dude. Like, I’m still scared right now because I’m, like, scared of him still. My brain’s rewired. Like, I’m scared to make him mad and last week I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared, so I was like, ‘Yeah, we can just talk about the stuff that’s public.’”

Brianna also went on to claim that the “I Remember Everything” singer, 28, made his ex-girlfriends sign NDAs while they were in a relationship with him.

“I still said, ‘F–k your money,’ but you made the women before me believe that they had no other choice, and to take money and their experiences away, sign what they went through away. You get to go skip off and sing your little f–king songs on stage like you’re a good dude,” Brianna explained. “I don’t want in two years to buy a f–king house and think, ‘Oh, this is the money from the dude that literally f–king destroyed me and broke me for a year.’ F–k that. F–k you. I don’t want your money.”

The Massachusetts native clarified that she wasn’t doing any of this for “drama” and this wasn’t her “not signing the NDA.” Brianna added that she didn’t turn down Zach’s alleged offer for money so she could “expose his secrets” on the podcast.

“I didn’t take the money because I’m not signing away my experiences and what I went through to protect someone that hurt me. I’m a lot stronger than a weak man [so] f–k you, f–k your money,” Brianna concluded in the clip.

Later the same day, Zach shared a cryptic quote on his Instagram Stories and had fans speculating that it was referencing Brianna. The country star reposted a photo of the late Jack Kerouac who wrote the novel On The Road, along with a quote from the book.

“I didn’t know what to say. I felt like crying, Goddammit everybody in the world wants an explanation for your acts and for your very being,” Kerouac’s quote read.

Brianna and Zach began dating in July 2023, two months after they met at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023. However, on October 22, Zach announced that he and Brianna had split after dating for over a year.

“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with (each other) and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her,” Zach wrote via his Instagram Stories at the time. “I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.”

He concluded, “With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”

Brianna later shared a message of her own, “Hey guys I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk.”
