Zach Bryan‘s fans are calling out ex-girlfriend Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia for bringing his other exes into the spotlight amid their contentious breakup.
The “BFFS” podcast host shared an Instagram Story on Wednesday, November 6, featuring two cakes. One cake displayed the words “Smallest Man” — a reference to a diss track aimed at Zach, which her “BFFs” podcast co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards had released earlier that day. The second cake listed the names of Zach’s three recent exes.
“For Bri, Deb, & Rose!!” read the second cake, nodding to Brianna, Zach’s former girlfriend Deb Peifer, and his ex-wife Rose Madden.
Following Brianna’s post, reactions poured in from both Zach’s and Brianna’s fans, many of whom felt it was “weird” to include his other exes in the drama. One fan commented under a TikTok video with a screenshot of the cake, saying, “I wonder if they all talked? If not this is incredibly weird on Bri’s part,” while another wrote, “Something tells me Rose & Deb aren’t interested in having their names next to Bri’s lmao.”
Deb seemingly showed her support for Brianna last month by sharing a TikTok video in which she clarified that she doesn’t “find any gratification in other people hurting, specifically other women,” addressing comments on her social media suggesting otherwise.
“So I just wanted to make sure that was clear,” Deb added. “I think that emotions are so nuanced and so complicated, but I don’t feel better because other people are hurting… I don’t think you should either, but that’s your journey.”
Deb and Zach had announced their breakup in May 2023, about a month before he started dating Brianna. At the time, he took to X for “transparency and with respect,” sharing that their split had been mutual and asking for privacy.
“Things are mutual between us, we’re leaving with plenty [of] memories and good times,” he wrote. “I beg so much that everyone respects her and my privacy through a hard time.”
Zach similarly confirmed his breakup with Brianna on Instagram Stories on October 22, after more than a year together.
“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” he wrote. “I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.”
Brianna responded shortly after, sharing on her Instagram Story that she felt “really blindsided” by the split and Zach’s public statement.
