Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has reacted to Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards‘ diss track aimed at her ex-boyfriend, Zach Bryan.
In case you missed it, Brianna’s “BFFS” podcast cohosts released a music video for their new song “Smallest Man” on Wednesday, November 6, taking aim at how Zach treated her, as well as his many exes, while also calling out some of his other controversial actions over the past few months.
Some lyrics even directly reference some of the country singer’s songs, including “Pretty soon you going to need a revival,” a clear nod to his well-known track, “Revival.”
Now, Brianna has reacted to the diss track via Instagram.
Posting a photo of her sitting in between Dave and Josh, she wrote as the caption: “Goodnight. You two are absolutely bat s—t crazy. But I do pray my daughter has friends like you both one day.”
As for how Zach reacted … Brianna hinted at his response a day before “Smallest Man” was even released.
Prior to the song’s drop, fans noticed Zach wasn’t tagged in the song’s Instagram announcement, even though the song is directed at him. One user commented, “Y’all aren’t even brave enough to tag him in the picture,” which Brianna replied, “We r all blocked.”
Not only did Zach block the “BFFS” cohosts, but the diss track was also quickly removed from YouTube due to copyright infringement.
The “BFFs” shared a screenshot of the removed video on their socials, posting, “The Smallest Man is NOT happy (but you can still watch it pinned to our profile and on all our other socials).
Zach and Brianna underwent a pretty messy public breakup last month, after the country singer announced their split on his Instagram Stories on Oct. 22, over a year after the two first began dating in June 2023.
“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with [each other] and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I’ll always thank her,” the country singer wrote.
“I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways,” he continued. “I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.”
Following his announcement, Brianna released her own statement and a YouTube video, saying she felt “blindsided” by the post.
“I’m probably not gonna post this for a little while, but I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up and I had no idea that post was going up,” she said in the video, while sitting on her bathroom floor. “He didn’t text me, he didn’t call me.”
