Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia isn’t letting $12 million get in the way of her truth.
The 25-year-old influencer spoke about her messy breakup with Zach Bryan on Thursday’s episode of the “BFFs” podcast, which she cohosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.
ICYMI, Brianna and Zach were together for over a year until the country singer announced their split via Instagram Story on Oct. 22, which Brianna said completed “blindsided” her in her own Instagram Story — and later, posted a YouTube video where she explained that when she’s “ready to talk about everything that happened, I will.” Now’s that time!
Following Dave and Josh’s diss track for Zach titled “Smallest Man” (which has now been removed from all platforms), the cohosts sat down to explain what really went down behind-the-scenes during Brianna’s relationship with the “I Remember Everything” singer.
From Zach allegedly manipulating and isolating Brianna from her friends and family, to emotional abuse and other controversies surrounding the singer, the “BFFs” hosts did not tread lightly in their claims against the 30-year-old singer. On top of that, Brianna alleged that she was asked to sign an NDA from Zach’s team and a payout that reached $12 million at one point.
During a solo segment of the episode, which was filmed last week, Brianna shared, “After everything was done, I was approached by [Zach’s] team and I was offered a lot of money, a big lump sum of money and a few options.”
Brianna claimed she would’ve received “the money over the course of three years” in exchange for not publicly discussing her “experiences” or “everything” she was to Zach.
“They would’ve been monitoring everything that I do,” she continued. “I thought about it for a second and I think they tend to forget, I started to forget, that I was someone, I was established, I was successful, before [Zach].”
She continued, “I’m all right where I’m at and I don’t want blood money. I don’t think you can pay people off that you hurt [and expect] for them to protect you … offering millions of dollars to this apparent beautiful relationship [and] keep it a secret, speaks volumes.”
“I did not accept any money. I will not accept any money. I think it’s beneath me. I think that it’s f–ked up,” Brianna added, before Dave confirmed later in the episode that the “lump sum” was around $12 million.
Zach’s team did not immediately respond to J-14‘s request for comment regarding Brianna’s claims.
